Reflecting: A Musical Exploration of Echo and Narcissus

As my thesis project in completion of my Masters of Fine Arts in Sound and Digital Media Design, I composed a narrative concept album based on the myth of Echo and Narcissus from Ovid's Metamorphoses.

Original music for video project

I created an original composition to go along with clips of the 1929 Silly Symphony: Skeleton Dance short film. I had lots of fun using percussive elements as sound effects and matching the music to the action.

While I have always been a sound designer, I have only recently been exploring music composition. In 2023 I began my journey of music creation, and have since been working on my skills as a composer.
